GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF TAOYO SUITES (TAOYO, S.L.) ACCOMMODATION BOOKING CONTRACT AND INFORMATION ABOUT ELECTRONIC CONTRACTING. Version of March 6, 2020

Please read the following terms and conditions closely before undertaking your booking. By making your reservation and payment, you agree to comply with the general terms and conditions. These can be modified at any time, resulting in new terms as from the date of publication on the service provider’s website. You can print this file on paper or save it in electronic format if you wish to read these general terms and conditions more thoroughly.

1. IDENTIFICATION OF THE PARTIES

On the other hand, the person who books the accommodation through the electronic address www.taoyosuites.com, hereinafter THE USER or THE CLIENT. For the contract to be valid, THE CLIENT must be of legal age (18 years old or older) and have full legal capacity to sign a contract.

2. BOOKING PROCESS

2.1 You can check the rooms and their availability at www.taoyosuites.com. On the homepage, you can start the booking process by choosing “see all” or “double room” on the first tab, which will allow you to see the different accommodation options available for each selected category. You must then enter your check-in and check-out dates, including the promotion code for your reservation in case you have one. Then, you must click on “book” so you can see the available accommodation options on the webpage—at this stage, no booking has been made. From this step on you will be redirected from Taoyo’ website to the external reservation management provider’s website, Avirato, whose management software completes the accommodation booking process for your stay at Taoyo Suites . This external provider will only process your data to manage your booking—it will not store or process them with any other purpose. 2.2 Once you have selected your arrival and departure dates, you can access detailed information on the web form “Online booking” about the rooms that are available on the chosen dates.

2.3 At the bottom of the online booking form, you will see the pictures of each available room. Please click on the “Prices” tab under the corresponding room and enter the number of guests (indicating the number of adults and children separately). After this, you will see the applicable fee for “accommodation only”. You have the option to choose between the “non-refundable” fee (you will be charged the full price for the stay when the booking is confirmed; no refunds are possible in case of cancellation) and the “standard fee (you can cancel your reservation up to 15 days before your check-in date; if you cancel after that period, you will be charged 100% of the reservation price).

2.4 Also in this section you will find the “Services” tab, which includes a detailed view of the room layout, and the specific services offered, and the “Terms and conditions” tab, which includes the terms and conditions of your reservation.

2.5 After choosing your fee, click on “Book”. The section “My reservations”, on the right side of the webpage, will be automatically filled in.

Please carefully check the details of this section, which includes the following fields:

  • Room type
  • Chosen fee category and price
  • Check-in and check-out date
  • Number of guests, with a specific indication of adults and children
  • Final price including taxes

2.6 After checking and confirming that your reservation details are correct, click on the green BOOK button underneath. You will be redirected to a new webpage where you can make your secure payment. To complete your payment, please fill in the required fields:

  • Name
  • Surnames
  • Identity card or passport number
  • Telephone number
  • Email address
  • Email address confirmation
  • Option to send an inquiry to the hotel owner

On the right column, you can see the -SUMMARY OF YOUR RESERVATION-

If you enter incorrect details, please inform us by email at info@taoyosuites.com or call us on 0034629321453. We will then correct your details and provide you, if the case may be, with the reservation form along with the corrected invoice.

2.7 Credit card and debit card are the only payment methods accepted. Please click on the “Book” tab underneath so you can be redirected to the Redsys payment gateway to proceed with your payment. If there are any mistakes in your details, you will be requested to correct them.

On the payment gateway, you are requested to enter your credit or debit card details. By clicking on the “Accept” tab, you will confirm your acceptance to conclude the purchase contract and making the payment.

The moment you purchase the accommodation service you will be redirected to the Redsys secure payment gateway, where you will provide your credit or debit card digits, expiry date, CVV2/CVC2 code and the name of the account holder, if required. Taoyo Suites does not save any guest’s bank details, since the transaction is made through online secure payment gateways. Also, the payment process is carried out on a secure server with SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol and the data provided by the client is encrypted algorithmically at a speed of 128 bits, thus ensuring it is only readable by the client’s and the website’s computer.

If you have chosen the “non refundable fee”, payment will be fully effective upon confirmation of the booking process. If you have chosen the “standard fee”, payment will be effective 14 days before check in date.

Once the payment is made, within a few minutes you will receive an email from TAOYO SUITES with the summary of your reservation and your invoice. If you do not receive this email, please contact us by email at info@Htaoyosuites.com or call us on 0034629321453.

2.8 TAOYO SUITES will store a copy of your purchase invoice for 6 years for commercial and fiscal purposes, except if legal obligations require a more extended storage period.

3. CANCELLATION AND RETURN POLICY

3.1 No refunds are possible if you have chosen a “non refundable fee” during your booking process. If you have chosen the “standard fee”, you will be able to cancel your reservation free of charge up to 15 days before the check in date.

3.2 No refunds are possible if your reservation is made less than 2 weeks before your check in date.

3.3 Failure to pay for any reason (credit card failed, the amount cannot be charged on the purchase date, etc.), the reservation will be automatically cancelled.

3.4 If the CLIENT does not show up to claim the room without previous notice (NO-SHOW), the reservation will be cancelled, and the full accommodation price will be charged.

3.5 If the CLIENT checks out before the due date, the price for the total number of booked days will be charged, even if the accommodation period has not been fully used.

4. SECURITY DEPOSIT

TAOYO SUITES will withhold an amount of EUR 150 from your credit or debit card as a deposit, which will be released after 48 hours of your check out.

5. RIGHT OF ADMISSION
TAOYO SUITES reserves the right of admission and removal from the hotel in the case of behaviours that may disturb other guests or users or that may affect the normal development of the hotel business.

7. PLACE OF CONTRACT EXECUTION, PARTIAL INVALIDITY OF THE PRESENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND APPLICABLE JURISDICTION

7.1 The place of performance is Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain. The contract shall be governed by Spanish law.
7.2 Should any of the general sales terms and conditions contradict legislation currently in force or found to be void, the other terms and conditions shall remain in full force and effect. Should any provision of these general sales terms and conditions be or become null, this will not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. The provision that is held not valid shall be construed, completed or substituted in such a way that the original economic purpose is achieved, whenever possible.
7.3 For the settlement of any dispute relating to the present contract, the competent courts will be those of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain.
7.4 In the event of a difference of interpretations between the original Spanish version and a translated version, only the Spanish one will be accepted.
